CINCINNATI, OH, April 02, 2012 (Press-News.org) Madeira Optical knows the challenges of 21st century medical practice. When they decided to moved to a new location at 7800 Laurel Ave. Madeira, OH 45243 on March 1st of 2012, Madeira Optical was faced with relocating a complex server and terminal practice management software package. Moving medical equipment and adding a state-of-the art exam lane were also on the agenda. So, Madeira Optical decided to convert from a locally maintained server to the iManaged Solutions virtual hosted environment. When Madeira Optical moved to 7800 Laurel Ave., all they have to do is connect computers to the internet and and open the remote software.

Because the new practice management software solution is in a virtual environment, Madeira Optical is able to use a combination of PCs and iPads at its new location at 7800 Laurel Avenue to provide a much more flexible and patient-friendly visit experience. iPads will be utilized in the optical and by doctors for new secure electronic medical records exams.
