The awards are determined by a panel of educators, scientists, artists, librarians, parents, and kids and their purpose is to search out and recommend products that help kids grow with products that are fairly priced, fun, safe and socially sound.

The site offers individualized assessments, which can be very helpful in helping a child learn and improve skills."
