Ron Sturgeon to Speak at TriMega's Purchasing Association's Aspire 2010
2010-09-28
SAN ANTONIO, TX, September 28, 2010 (Press-News.org) Author and consultant Ron Sturgeon, whose business and real estate achievements have made him a popular professional speaker, will address TriMega Purchasing Association's Aspire 2010, the co-operative's national convention to be held from Sept. 29 through Oct. 1 at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort.

Sturgeon will present three seminars at the event:

* The Care and Feeding of Bankers: A Guide for Entrepreneurs--Getting Your Banker to Yes in the "New World"
* Potholes and Keyholes, Consolidation and Compaction
* Peer Mentoring -- The Proven Best Kept Secret for Improving Your Business In A Non-Competitive Environment

While he has enjoyed success in a variety of fields, Sturgeon often focuses on nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit and empowering owners with tools and tips to excel in their business. He has conducted seminars at rotary clubs, law firms, chambers of commerce and colleges, as well as delivered keynote speeches at several business conferences and conventions.

The seminar topics at Aspire highlight some of Sturgeon's recent areas of focus. He offers tips for entrepreneurs dealing with the banking industry in "Getting To Yes With Your Banker", a book he co-wrote with Worthington National Bank founder Greg Morse. Sturgeon reveals which methods work (and which don't) when fostering and maintaining successful relationships with bankers. The book is due later this year and is currently available for pre-order.

He also considers another seminar topic, peer benchmarking, to be an important tool that successful entrepreneurs should utilize. At Sturgeon's speaking and consultant site, www.mrmissionpossible.com, he highlights the importance of peer benchmarking review groups, where owners in non-competitive markets share techniques, solutions and feedback with the help of a group facilitator. His book on the subject, "Peer Benchmarking Groups-- One Entrepreneur's Story of Extreme Success," will be released next spring. It is also available for pre-order.

The Keynote Speaker for Aspire 2010 is Southwest Airlines Chairman, President and CEO Gary Kelley. Sturgeon's seminars will be held on Oct. 1. For more information about Aspire 2010, visit www.trimegaaspire.com. For more information regarding Sturgeon's speaking schedule, books and pre-orders, visit www.mrmissionpossible.com.
