The Master of Science in Recreation Administration and the Doctorate in Social Work are now available in a convenient online format for students seeking an alternative way to continue their education and achieve their career goals.
The Master of Science in Recreation Administration is an accelerated degree program focused on advancing a professional's career in the field of parks and recreation. Through advanced curriculum and graduate assistantships, students grow both personally and professionally. Careers in the field involve directing and managing the programs and operational systems of recreation and leisure agencies, including park districts, outdoor experiential education centers, state and national parks, recreation centers, youth organizations, camps, conference centers, special events, resorts, campuses and private recreation businesses. GWC's master's degree program has a 96 percent placement rate, ensuring graduates find employment in their field.
