OSEHRA Announces Corporate Partner, InterSystems, Inc.

Partnership enables OSEHRA community to Leverage InterSystems World Class Expertise and Technology

ARLINGTON, VA, April 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) OSEHRA, the nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating innovation in electronic health record software, and InterSystems, Inc., a global provider of advanced software technologies, today announced the enrollment of InterSystems as the first corporate member to pay dues to the new open source community.

InterSystems CACHÉ is the most widely used database system in clinical applications. InterSystems Ensemble is a platform for rapid integration and the development of connectable applications. InterSystems HealthShare is a strategic platform for healthcare informatics, and the creation of an Electronic Health Record on a regional or national scale. InterSystems DeepSee is software that makes it possible to embed real-time analytics capabilities in transactional applications.

The OSEHRA open source ecosystem is a transparent, rapid and safe way to accelerate progress in creating an ever improving, and highly functional EHR for the beneficiaries of VA healthcare, and more broadly, the nation as a whole.
