HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA, September 28, 2010 (Press-News.org) The annual Huntington Beach Senior Saturday Expo was held on September 11, 2010, at the Huntington Beach Pier Plaza in Huntington Beach, California. Senior Saturday is sponsored by the Huntington Beach Council on Aging and is Orange County's largest non-profit Senior Expo.
The Huntington Beach Senior Saturday Expo provides seniors the opportunity to learn more about services available to seniors from both the public and private sectors. Senior Saturday was a free event complete with live entertainment, a two dollar breakfast or lunch, and over seventy vendors.
Huntington Beach City Attorney Jennifer McGrath was present to support Senior Saturday and the Huntington Beach Council on Aging. Jennifer McGrath talked to Huntington Beach seniors about their concerns and the services available to seniors through the City of Huntington Beach including services through the Rodgers Seniors Center and the Seniors Outreach Center in Huntington Beach.
