Barbara Ann Derksen Wishes To Announce the Up-coming Release of the Fourth Book in her Wilton/Strait Mystery Series, Silence

STEINBACH, MB, April 13, 2012 (Press-News.org) The series, written from a Christian world view, tells the story of two people, barely acquaintances in Book 1, who join forces to find missing people. Along the way the uncover throw away children in Haiti, the biker culture and the missing DEA agent who's been undercover for two years, and a black market in body parts. IN Silence, their relationship has progressed toward marriage but is interrupted when Andrea Wilton is kidnapped by Chechen Mafia members trafficking in white slavery. Brian Strait travels on a journey to find her.

Derksen, currently resides in Steinbach Manitoba. She began her writing career in Iowa. There, she served as a journalist for American newspapers for 8 years with over 2000 articles published in those papers as well as in some international magazines. Derksen, a Canadian by birth, honed her craft in the US but returned to her Canadian roots in 2008.

McNally Robinson, an independent bookseller in Winnipeg carries her books but the pre-release special can only be obtained from Derksen's website - http://www.barbaraannderksen.com. Mystery aficionados can read sample chapters and reviews as well as check out all her other books in a couple of different genres.

One 92 year old woman read well past her bedtime when she picked up a copy of Derksen's first mystery Mind Trap, and readers all over the country are watching for the release of the third book in the series next spring. A woman, this summer, told Derksen she'd never read a book all the way through until she picked up Vanished.
