MyBinding.com and Boom Fitness PDX are pairing together to create a first-ever Fitness Program for MyBinding.com employees

HILLSBORO, OR, April 21, 2012 (Press-News.org) MyBinding.com, one of the country's leading retailers of document finishing machines and supplies, is partnering with Boom Fitness to provide their employees with a fitness program.

"The health of our employees is very important to us," said Jeff McRitchie, Vice President of Marketing for MyBinding.com. "Many of our employees sit for most of the day and we wanted a way to help our staff stay active."

McRitchie joined Boom Fitness for personal reasons and brought several employees along with him. As more employees joined, the two companies decided to work together. Employees at MyBinding.com mainly do office-related tasks and many of them sit for much of the day. With the new agreement between these two companies, MyBinding.com is giving their employees the chance to join a fitness club through a special deal, making it accessible to everyone.

"Boom Fitness is a great gym at a reasonable price," said McRitchie. "They offer a variety of services that we hope our employees will take advantage of."

Boom Fitness has been serving the Portland area for the last few years. They currently have two locations, one in the Tualatin and one in Beaverton, not far from the MyBinding.com Hillsboro office. Boom Fitness members enjoy working out on a full range of cardio and weight machines. They also offer a wide variety of classes, personal training sessions, tanning beds, a sauna and a steam room, a licensed massage therapist, and on-site childcare.

"We are really excited to work with MyBinding.com," said Tom Carter, Operations and Membership Manager for the Tanasbourne Boom Fitness. "We hope to give their employees the best gym experience by making fitness an affordable priority. In return, their memberships keep our business healthy and able to grow."

A fitness program is a benefit that more and more companies are providing their employees. MyBinding.com and Boom Fitness are both excited for this new partnership between them. As Boom Fitness is a relatively young business, they are reaching out to smaller organizations who might be willing to join with them as well.

"We are trying to reach out to other businesses but it can be challenging," said Carter. "I think what we are offering is a great deal and I hope it takes off."
