Dixon Fire Ball Named to Golf Digest's 2012 Hot List

The Dixon Fire golf ball, the first eco-friendly tour-caliber golf ball, has been named to the Golf Digest "2012 Hot List" for the first time.

2012-04-21
TEMPE, AZ, April 21, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Dixon Fire golf ball, the first eco-friendly tour-caliber golf ball, has been named to the Golf Digest "2012 Hot List" for the first time.

The golf magazine of record said the Fire ball's "effort to go greener is worthwhile." Golf Digest also praised the Fire ball further by stating "the ball performed admirably in our player evaluations, particularly on iron shots."

"We're proud of the hard work we've put into our products. It's great to see the golf establishment recognize that a golf ball can be both high performance and eco-friendly," says Dixon Golf CEO William Carey.

The Fire ball scored four out of five stars in three categories: performance, innovation and feel.
The Fire ball was release in July, 2010 and has met with much acclaim since then. The 2012 Golf Digest "Hot List" is one of many such lists the ball has been named to.

The Golf Digest 2012 "Hot List" can be found in the May issue.
