President Obama Announces Faster Foreign Visa Process

Using the whimsical background of Cinderella's Castle at Disney World, President Obama announced an initiative to speed up the process by which foreign travelers can obtain visas to visit the United States.

2012-04-21
WASHINGTON, DC, April 21, 2012 (Press-News.org) Recently, President Obama traveled to the happiest place on earth to deliver an important message to potential foreign visitors. That message was that the United States is going to make great strides in improving the visa application process. This will allow those foreign visitors who wish to come to America quicker access to important travel documents. Since 9/11, there have been stricter restrictions on foreign travel into the United States. That has put a big dent in America's tourist industry, as these travelers seek out other destinations as opposed to waiting for weeks and sometimes months for the appropriate visas. With this new announcement, many of those same travelers can now make America the number one stop on their vacation plans. This is going to be a major boost for the economy. Fortunately for American travelers heading out of the country for business or pleasure, Travel Document systems becomes their "portal to the world."

Travel Document Systems already provides an expedited application process for travelers who are headed to destinations outside of the United States which require visas and up-to-date passports. Even if a traveler is not located near one of Travel Document Systems' home offices, they can still take advantage of their speedy application process. The first step is to complete the application online. The application should then be sent via FedEx to a Travel Document Systems office, where it will be immediately processed. All throughout the process, the traveler can track the amount of time it would take before they will receive those documents. This service has provided a level of convenience appreciated by many travelers, as it removes the hassle of securing important travel documents.

First-time travelers to destinations such as Brazil, China, India or Russia might not be aware of the need for travel visas even for a vacation. However, each of those countries requires these documents in addition to a passport. As with passport applications, these applications can be helped along by the services provided by Travel Document Systems. The travel specialists who work for TDS have developed positive working relationships with all the consulates and government agencies whose aid is needed in filing these applications as quickly and efficiently as possible. This is the kind of expertise which allows a traveler to focus on their journey and not the paperwork.

Travel Document Systems, Inc. (TDS) is a leading visa and passport processing agency. For nearly 26 years we have served travel professionals, tour operators, and cruise lines, as well as corporate and individual international travelers. TDS specializes in travel that involves visas for more than one country.
