LAS VEGAS, NV, April 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) Giving travelers a break from climbing prices, Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour Reviews announced today that it has launched a web page where it will post coupons that drop the cost of helicopter tours by up to 33 percent.
"Of all tours, Grand Canyon helicopter flights are the ones most affected by high gas prices," said Keith Kravitz, owner of GrandCanyonHelicopterTourReviews.com. "Coupons significantly roll back costs and make these one-of-a-kind trips available to travelers of all budgets."
Kravitz and his team scour the Internet daily for the best coupons, promotions and deals before posting them to the site. Further, every offer is checked and verified each morning to ensure their validity.
"All that glitters is not gold," Kravitz noted. "Oftentimes, these deals come with a bucket-load of terms and conditions that include black-out dates, minimum number of passengers and stand-by seats. Those types of offers are useless to our readers and don't make the cut.
"The deals that we do post are straight forward and don't play games. By this I mean promotions that reduce the retail rate by X dollars and that's that. Clean and simple. We must be doing a good job, too, because reader feedback has been positively phenomenal!"
Coupons are available for helicopter flights at the West Rim and the South Rim of the National Park. "Originally, we started out with just West Rim helicopter rides, but have now expanded the list to include South Rim tours," Kravitz said.
The majority of travelers departing from Las Vegas will go to Grand Canyon West, which is 120 miles to the east. Flight time is 45 minutes. Visitors starting out from Arizona, including Phoenix, Scottsdale and Sedona, will want to browse the South Rim coupons.
The West Rim hosts the greatest variety of tours and is the only place where helicopters can go below the rim and land at the bottom.
"Bottom-landing flights are extraordinarily exciting," said Kravitz. "Two of my favorites include one that goes to the base and includes a Champagne picnic and another that bundles in a Colorado River boat ride and a Grand Canyon Skywalk pass."
The South Rim, renowned for its scenic beauty, is famous for its dramatic air-only tours.
"The National Park is comprised of more than 1 million acres," Kravitz said. "If you want a shot at seeing a good percentage of that wilderness, you've got to take a helicopter ride. If that's not good reason enough, perhaps knowing that you'll fly through the widest, deepest part of the canyon will persuade you."
Coupons are currently available for classic and deluxe helicopter tours.
"Basic helicopter rides get the job done," Kravitz observed. "If, however, you have the budget, definitely consider upgrading to include more airtime aboard an EcoStar 130, which features up to 20 percent more cabin space, theater-style seating and a 180-degree wraparound windshield."
Coupons are good for online bookings only. Not completing your transaction on the Web could result in paying rack rates.
"Booking a helicopter tour over the Internet is super simple," Kravitz noted. "Yet I still get email from readers and clients who bail on the online ordering page, call customer support and wind up paying full price for a trip they could have saved a considerable amount of money on. Please, don't make the same mistake. Book it online, then relax and let the savings roll in."
