Macdonald Hotels & Resorts Announces Two Senior Management Appointments

Macdonald Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Debbie Milburn and Stephen Dodman, to the roles of Head of Marketing and Revenue Director respectively.

EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND, April 25, 2012 (Press-News.org) Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, the UK's largest privately owned hotel group, with a portfolio of over forty-five 4 and 5 star hotels and resorts throughout the UK and Spain, has announced two new appointments to its senior management team: Debbie Milburn joins the group as Head of Marketing and Stephen Dodman joins as Revenue Director.

Stephen joins Macdonald Hotels & Resorts to oversee all revenue management, including distribution and pricing. His appointment follows several years spent with von Essen Hotels where he was most recently Sales & Marketing Director. Previously, Stephen spent 17 years working in several positions within the DeVere Group, including roles as Brand Revenue Manager and General Manager.

Debbie Milburn brings with her over 8 years' experience in the hospitality, tourism and leisure industry and was most recently Director of Marketing for QHotels. Throughout her career, she has held senior marketing positions within a number of hotel groups, achieving success across off and online leisure and conference-focused marketing campaigns. In 2011, she won a marketing award for the QConferences dedicated website and helped QHotels achieve AA Eco Hotel Group of the Year.
