CHESTER, ENGLAND, April 30, 2012 (Press-News.org) PerDM's networking event was organised to promote the overall industry growth. Outsourcing sales or marketing campaigns is a growing trend for many businesses as it is cost-effective and offers measurable results. Earlier this month PerDM reported exceeding acquisition targets in the first quarter of 2012, they attributed the success to their aptitude for obtaining local knowledge. The networking event took place in London and boasted over 50 business owners in attendance. PerDM introduced some of the leading outsourced sales agency's to promising entrepreneurs and led discussion in business development opportunities.
"Networking with successful people from similar industries is important to an individual's personal and business development. Field Marketing and Outsourced Sales are competitive industries and it can be easy to get caught up in day to day activities of the business and let networking with other professionals slip to the bottom of the priority list. The event that we held in London this week was a fantastic success and I hope to see it become a quarterly activity," says Ian Attwood, Director at PerDM.
Networking is deemed important in many industries as forming and maintaining a strong network of contacts can add value and strengthen a business. PerDM outline benefits of networking can include; developing communication skills, broadening market knowledge and identifying up-coming industry trends.
PerDM encouraged many of the participants to share advice on adapting to changes in the field marketing and outsourced sales industries. "Our attendees are successful business leaders and encouraged many thought provoking discussions throughout the evening. After attending many events that allow for networking opportunities, it has become apparent that networking can be a valuable tool for businesses. The return may not always be instantaneous but in my experience knowing experts in your industry will assist a business in many ways over the years to come," adds PerDM's Director, Ian Attwood.
Networking is a proactive tactic to build long lasting relationships that will encourage productivity. PerDM agree that to succeed business owners must connect with emerging industry specialists as well as long-standing experts and cultivate business relationships. A strong network of professional contacts will help further promote a brand and build a positive business reputation.
PerDM was established in August 2005 in response to the UK markets need for a field sales organisation capable of delivering high quality results with consistency and reliability.
The company was formed by a group of former UK financial services executives and senior executives from the leading North American field sales agency and since 2005 we have continually recruited leading figures from the B2C and B2B business arena.
