The event is sanctioned and operated for the county by the Tennessee Valley Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). Scenic Jackson County is located in northeastern Alabama along the Tennessee River and in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The Crow Mountain Hill Climb is a SCCA South East division Championship event. Drivers are expected to come from throughout the southeast including:
