NEW YORK, NY, May 01, 2012 (Press-News.org) Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath began his career as a traveling teacher, bringing spiritual insight and instruction to the residents of the Himalayan region of Northern India. Since then, he has come to be a spiritual mentor and revered figure to countless people around the world. He has taught countless students, and even presented his views on the floor of the United Nations. His teachings appear on YouTube, and have garnered thousands of hits. Even so, Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath is preparing to bring his teachings to one of his widest audiences yet; the spiritual leader is currently in the middle of a major world tour, coinciding with the recent release of his latest book.
The book in question is Babaji: The Lightning Standing Still. Already celebrated by many as a vital work on the life of Babaji, a divine being revered by Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath and many of his own followers, the hefty volume has proven popular enough to sell all of its first-run hardcover editions. Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath, who is a direct disciple of Babaji, will be drawing extensively from the work on the dates of his tour; paperback editions of the book are currently available on the author's website.
The tour began in April and is scheduled to run well into October. The initial sessions were held in Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath's home city of Pune, India, also the location of his large yoga center. The remainder of the tour will take him to various cities in Europe and the United States, among them Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle.
In keeping with Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath's mystic image, the tour is anything but a standard book tour. In fact, many of the stops on the tour are multi-day spiritual retreats. Additionally, Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath will be leading numerous instructional sessions, focusing on the practice of yoga.
Much of Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath's career has been devoted to yoga, a concept the teacher says is largely misunderstood in the Western world. While many regard it solely as an exercise n physical fitness, Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath illuminates its spiritual roots and underpinnings. Several of the U.S. tour stops will be devoted to these yoga sessions.
All are welcome to attend these events, but prior registration is required for many of the sessions. Online registration, as well as a full tour schedule and information on the book, can be found at Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath's website, located at http://www.siddhanath.org/events/yogiraj-events.

2012-05-01

When performed and monitored properly, the benefits of CT scans outweigh the potential long-term risk of radiation. To minimize the potential adverse effects of radiation exposure to pediatric patients, it is necessary to reduce the dose of radiation delivered to these patients ...

Oil and gas are the fuels that drive the world economy. And the state of Texas is a significant contributor to that economy, with giants like the Eagle Ford Shale and the Barnett Shale covering large swaths of Texas.
There is money to be made, but Texas landowners must understand their rights when leasing their land to oil and gas companies, so as to avoid an oil lease dispute.
As Dianna Wray reports for the Victoria Advocate, Judon Fambrough is a long-time professor of oil and gas law at Texas A&M University. Whether you've already entered into a lease, or ...
Those Fracking Chemicals in Texas: No One Seems to be Worried
2012-05-01
Chalk it up to the oil boom.
As America seeks to produce more of its own energy, a dominant technology has emerged in an effort to extract oil and gas from our existing plays, like the Eagle Ford Shale and Barnett Shale oil fields in Texas, and both landowners and oil companies (and oil and gas workers) see that there is money to be made.
"Hydrofracking," short for hydraulic fracturing, is a process in which drillers combine water and sand and chemicals to fracture tough shale rock layers, getting those fossil fuels to flow.
