Italian Tenor Promotes Music at Album Signing on Cinco de Mayo in Orlando, Florida

Joseph Spinella joins the Cinco de Mayo festivities at Cantina Laredo in Orlando by signing autographs for albums and promoting his upcoming shows.

SARASOTA, FL, May 02, 2012

Cantina Laredo in Orlando celebrates Cinco de Mayo with a full day of festivities. On Saturday, internationally-renowned tenor, Joseph Spinella will be appearing to sign autographs for albums purchased and also to promote his upcoming shows.

Joseph Spinella's current album, Spinella Tenor of Illusions, is available on Amazon.com and has been featured on various radio stations in the U.S. The album features poperatic arias and traditional music that exemplifies classic Neapolitan songs. Backed by the Macedonian Radio Symphony Orchestra, this all-Italian album contains 13 songs and displays Spinella's mastery of bell'arte del canto.

He has two Latin-flavored shows scheduled at Cantina Laredo for June 1, 2012. These are limited-engagement shows, as Mr. Spinella will begin a recording session with the Macedonian Radio Symphony Orchestra later in June.

Mr. Spinella continues with his summer engagements in New York and returns to Florida in October for rehearsals of his new show, Spinella Tenor of Illusions. The show combines opera and David-Copperfield-style illusions on stage and premieres in Port Charlotte Florida in late October.

Afterward he is scheduled to appear at the Skopje Opera House in Macedonia for a concert with members of the Macedonia Radio Symphony Orchestra and concert, pianist, Andrew Lapp.

Mr. Spinella has a large following overseas and has appeared with numerous orchestras, most notably the Israeli Philharmonic under the baton of famed-conductor, Zubin Mehta, with "Lucia di Lammermoor."

A native of Sarasota, Florida, Spinella was awarded a scholarship to Manhattan School of Music in New York City. A few years ago, he was discovered by Paul Nadler, one of the Metropolitan Opera conductors and was invited to work with Metropolitan Opera coaches in NYC. This began his regular sessions with Joan Dorneman, who was also Luciano Pavarotti's vocal coach for thirty years.

Listeners often disagree with the comparisons to Pavarotti. "He has a great voice. Better than Pavarotti," says Alina Shuskina, a long-time fan.

It is a crowd-pleasing show set in a gourmet Mexican restaurant located in 8000 Via Dellagio Way, Orlando, FL 32819.

The Cinco de Mayo festivities include a special buffet and party starting at 6 p.m. that includes $4 Casa 'Ritas, $3 Mexican beers and other drink specials. DJ, Johnny Blue, will be entertaining the house and offering prizes and giveaways as part of the fun. A $50.00 VIP Buffet includes an open bar. Reservations required for the VIP buffet and two seating times are offered at 5pm and 8 pm. Call (407)345-0186 to make reservations.

Cantina Laredo serves authentic Mexican dishes in a sophisticated atmosphere. Daily fish specials, grilled chicken and steaks are complimented by signature sauces such as chipotle-wine with portobello mushrooms or sauteed artichoke hearts and roasted red bell peppers. Fresh guacamole is made table-side. In addition to restaurant service, Cantina Laredo offers catering service and can host banquets or events at their facilities.
