Italian distiller produces its premium native beverage using Tudertechnica's Tusil Bright silicone hose

103-year-old Bonollo a recognized leader in grappa production, distribution

CLEVELAND, OH, September 29, 2010

An Italian company with 103 years in the distillation business knows that it must have superior distilling equipment and supplies to produce a high quality grappa, an alcoholic beverage that is native to Italy.

That's why Bonollo uses only Tudertechnica's Tusil Bright silicone hose to produce its premium native beverage. Italy is the world leader in the production of grappa, a distilled alcoholic beverage referred to in Italy as a "digestivo." Grappa is distilled from vinaccia a by-product of grapes used in making wine. As advancements in the distillation and ageing process have taken place, grappa has gained worldwide acceptance as a digestif, or after-dinner drink.

"Bonollo has capitalized on the growing global acceptance of our grappa as an after-dinner beverage," said Elvio Bonollo, the company's marketing manager. "It is Bonollo's focus on the distillation and ageing process that have contributed to Bonollo's high quality grappa now being appreciated by discriminating customers around the world."

Elvio also added, "Production of fine grappa not only requires the selection and use of the best vinaccia, but also the equipment used in the distillation process must not import any 'foreign' taste into the grappa. It is for this reason that Bonollo has selected Tudertechnica's silicone hose exclusively to produce our premium grappa."

Bonollo has used Tudertechnica's Tusil Bright silicone hose for the last four years. "We are extremely pleased with the hose," said Elvio. "It does exactly what it is intended - it transfers the product effectively and there are no unwanted tastes in the grappa."

Tusil Bright silicone hose meets all U.S. FDA and European requirements, has been certified by the Japan Ministry of Health and Welfare. In addition, the hose has received careful scrutiny by Hakko Corporation of Japan, and in independent tests of Tusil Bright, received superior marks in comparison with other Japanese silicone hoses.

Tusil Bright is distributed in North America by CRP Industries.
