STRANDLODSVEJ, DENMARK, May 04, 2012 (Press-News.org) African art as the other art forms have a rich a traditional variations according to the tribal sections and the old ancient African culture. The African region is a vast area with many tribes who have lived there for generations. Hence the culture has a great influence in the African Art and artifacts (http://www.exploreafricanart.com/). We have the art expressions with the influence of the British and Americans and Muslims Thus, in each of the area the inhabitants have shown art forms having those influences.
African Artists have lived their youth in the rich and picturesque beauty of Africa. We find both schools of paintings here.
1. The early bushman era The paintings here are sketches or etching on rocks with red rock stones, probably drawn by the bushmen who lived in the forest regions in the earlier African period.
2. The modern African youth trying to deviate from the traditional background and have had an exposure to the works of the "Twentieth century" artists like 'Picasso' and others, thus, started experimenting with oils and acrylic painting Medias on the canvas. Most of these African Artists are based at Kenya. The African Artists have found a platform to exhibit and sell their paintings through 'black art pictures' an art emporium having almost all variety of works of these artists. This is how Canvas Art found its way in African Art world.
A totally different African Art is found at 'Mali' the African Artists; here use the abstract art as form of expressions mostly rendering the sexual area artistically with abstract art forms.
Canvas Art and Canvas Artwork in include the works of Africans and the British who have settled in South Africa. They have painted animals, floral designs, motifs and murals. Most of the traditional paintings have the oriental touch in bright colors and designs. Their murals have rendered the animal forms in different combinations.
African Art also includes the Egyptian art forms like the portraits of the Pharaohs, the queens the famous Sphinx and other forms found in the historical Egyptian era. Using paints to color their faces have also been an artistic depiction. The African Art includes sculptures, collages and other oriental figurines. The modern African Art includes engravings on copper foils. Their artistic innovations can be seen in almost every utility item too. For example a doormat has elephants or any other animal species of Africa. For more details visit our site on http://www.exploreafricanart.com/
The Childrens art of the old school has the outline drawn on stones and other surface, but, today they too have been influenced by new and modern trends, just as the children all over the world depending upon their monetary status. Mostly the principle 'Art for Arts sake has been the feeling of every artist all over the world.
