TROY, MI, May 04, 2012 (Press-News.org) In an effort to use technology to reach customers, Troy, MI-based Hansons Windows will soon be introducing interactive kiosks in Metro Detroit malls, where potential customers can sample roofing, windows, and siding.
"Along with our very successful marketing efforts and state-of-the-art online presence, we have added kiosks in the area's busiest malls, making the selection process easier for our customers," said Brian Elias, owner and president of Hansons Windows.
Locations featuring kiosk stations include Oakland (Troy) and Lakeside (Sterling Heights) Malls with the latest addition of Twelve Oaks (Novi) and Laurel Park (Livonia) Malls.
"We are planning on opening at least four more mall locations by the end of the year," Elias said.
Hansons Windows kiosk visitors will be able to preview vinyl siding colors and roofing shingles, and will even be able to sample the quality of windows offered. Virtual animation will enable visitors to open and close windows and visualize the smallest of details to choose the best features for their home.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to enter a $50,000 home makeover sweepstakes and schedule an appointment with a Hansons Windows home improvement expert.
Elias anticipates the new kiosks will increase his company's revenues by $500,000 in 2012. With spring weather approaching and the economy showing improvement, Elias predicts a strong 2012 outlook.
"We continue to provide not only excellent products but superb customer service by making the process of home improvement easy and affordable for our customers," said Elias.
Brian Elias founded 1-800-HANSONS in 1988 as a one-man operation selling the leads he canvassed. Now 1-800-HANSONS is one of the industry's largest home improvement companies. Last year HANSONS' first location, in Troy, generated a majority of the company's $46 million 2011 sales. The company is committed to educational projects and charitable organization throughout Michigan and Ohio.
