BURBANK, CA, May 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) What happened in Vegas certainly didn't stay there! The Editors' Lounge will be hosting their NAB 2012 roundup featuring all the best from Avid and BlackMagic Design. Special date for the event will be Friday, May 18 at AlphaDogs Post Production 1612 W. Olive Ave, Suite 200, Burbank, CA 91506 beginning at 6:30 pm. RSVP is required to attend the event.
Avid returns to the Lounge to show off the sleek new interface in Symphony 6 which is now a 64-bit application that allows better performance and speed to handle complex video editing. All of the familiar tools from Media Composer 6, as well as flexible hardware solutions will be shown. Demonstrations of the advanced color correction and mastering with the Color panel from the Artist Series will also be included in the presentation.
Joining Avid will be BlackMagic Design, with updates to DaVinci Resolve Version 9 that features a faster user interface, streamlined workflows, and log-grading in corrector nodes. BlackMagic will also be presenting their entirely revamped line of Teranex processors that allows video editors to move between hundreds of video formats in real time.
The Editors' Lounge offers the opportunity to learn from post-production industry peers and networking with new and old friends. The Lounge opens at 6:30 pm with presentations beginning at 7:00 pm. RSVP is required if wish to attend. If you've RSVP'd but then cannot attend for any reason, please contact us right away so we can give your spot to someone else.
