North Carolina's Top Healthcare Executives To Discuss Rising Healthcare Costs On June 14

CHAPEL HILL, NC, May 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) Hill, Chesson & Woody (http://www.hcwbenefits.com), a healthcare and welfare benefits brokerage and consulting firm that designs, manages and implements employee benefit programs, has announced that it will host "Healthcare Costs StormTracker," a breakfast and panel discussion about what to expect in healthcare during the next three to five years featuring top executives from five insurance companies serving North Carolina, on Thursday, June 14 at the RTP Sheraton Imperial at 4700 Emperor Blvd. from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Panelists will answer questions regarding the pressures that insurers are facing in the wake of current rising healthcare costs, what their organizations are doing to make the future better for employers that are offering health plans to their employees and what strategies companies can use to prepare for the future of rising healthcare costs.

The event will feature leaders from North Carolina's five major medical carriers, including Margie Maxwell, president of Southeast Markets, Aetna; Brad Wilson, president and CEO, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of North Carolina; Charles C. Pitts, president and general manager, Cigna Healthcare Carolinas; Garland Scott, CEO of North and South Carolina Markets, United Healthcare; and Tracy Baker, president and CEO, Wellpath.

The event is free and open to the media, but note that the venue has a maximum occupancy of 1,000. Hill, Chesson & Woody's partners Todd Yates and Skip Woody will serve as moderators for the event.
