TROY, MI, May 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) Brian Elias, owner and president of Hansons Windows, is the sixth winner of the National Fred Case Remodeling Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
The award—established by the founder, co-chairman and CEO of Case Design/Remodeling—is given to individuals who demonstrate "business expertise, financial strength, industry and community involvement and entrepreneurial spirit."
"It is an honor to be recognized by the design and remodeling industry," said Elias.
The Fred Case Award is truly one of a kind. There isn't another like it in the industry, because it recognizes specific individuals instead of companies. The Award is open to all of those in the remodeling industry. In addition to the prestige that comes with the honor, cash prizes are awarded to the winner as well as to the four finalists.
Case Founder, CEO and Co-Chairman, Fred Case, said that Elias "demonstrates that with forward-thinking ideas and strong execution of those ideas, not only can you survive, but you can even excel in today's marketplace. The entrepreneurial spirit he has shown sets a higher bar not only for his business but for the remodeling industry as a whole."
Case added, "We are proud to recognize such a deserving individual for all of his accomplishments over the past year. Brian Elias truly exemplifies what the Fred Case Award is all about."
Having founded Hansons Windows in 1988, Brian Elias says he is committed to innovative ideas and improving the customer experience. To that end, Hansons Windows has recently expanded its efforts by increasing the use of custom in-house and web-based mobile applications to better serve customers.
Hansons Windows has also expanded its reach by opening kiosks inside several area malls. Prospective customers at the malls can sample windows, roofing, and siding, and make appointments to get a free estimate. Elias anticipates the new kiosks will increase his company's revenues by a minimum of $500,000 this year alone. With a strong start to the year and spring weather approaching, Elias predicts a strong 2012 outlook.
