Baker's Body Shop a new auto body repair shop in Greencastle, Indiana is holding its grand opening and cruise-in on July 1, 2012.

GREENCASTLE, IN, June 25, 2012 (Press-News.org) Putnam County residents will soon have another option when deciding where to have their damaged vehicles repaired. The grand opening - cruise in for Baker's Body Shop will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 10:00am - 5:00pm.

Baker's Body Shop is owned and operated by Larry Baker Jr., a longtime Greencastle resident. Baker first started his career in auto body work in 1998 for a body shop out of Terre Haute, Indiana. In 2002 Baker began taking on side jobs out of his home garage. In 2011 Baker decided to make his dream a reality and began operating his business full-time through his home garage. After much success and many satisfied customers, Baker is furthering his dreams by relocating the business to the new north-side Greencastle location.

Baker holds many certifications including the I-CAR Gold certification, DuPont Color Match certification, and Automotive Glass certification. Baker shows a great passion for his work which is proven through many satisfied customers, achievements, and awards. In 2009 Baker took the Best in Show, Best in Paint, and Monty Beaman's Choice awards for two of his custom built motorcycles at the Putnam County Humane Society's Cause for the Paws Car Show. He also won the Best in Paint Motorcycle Class award in 2009 and 2011 for the Greencastle Run for Fun. In 2011, Baker's custom built motorcycle was featured at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Indianapolis for the Sugarland Disaster Benefit Bike Show.
