2010-10-01
BOURNEMOUTH, ENGLAND, October 01, 2010 (Press-News.org) Veteran pop rockers Squeeze are set to roll back the years with a performance at the O2 Academy in Bournemouth later this year.

As part of their biggest UK tour in over ten years, the group will head to the south coast on Sunday November 14th.

With support coming from another reformed guitar band with plenty of hits to their name, The Lightning Seeds, the show promises to be a memorable occasion for fans staying in Bournemouth hotels.

Tickets are now available online for GBP33.50 plus booking fee and the doors will open at 19:00 GMT.

Formed in south London in the mid 1970s, Squeeze found fame with classic tracks such as Up the Junction, Cool for Cats, Tempted and Labelled With Love.

The group have broken up several times but reunited in 2007, much to the delight of their many fans.

Although original keyboardist Jools Holland left long ago, the band's original songwriting partners Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford remain part of the line-up.

With new members Stephen Nieve and Simon Hanson now in the fold alongside returning bassist John Bentley, Squeeze released their 13th studio album Spot the Difference in August.

The record features 14 new recordings of classic songs from the band's back catalogue, including Pulling Mussels (From the Shell) and Black Coffee in Bed.
