HOLLYWOOD, FL, June 28, 2012 (Press-News.org) Rodger S. Fowler, who worked for Radio Corporation of American International, has been selected as an Executive Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Rodger S. Fowler's commitment to excellence in Aviation.
Beginning in 1954, just after graduating high school, Fowler began working in construction building launch support buildings at Cape Canaveral AAF in Florida. He continued in the field until 1956 when he began working for Radio Corporation of America International, where he remained until retirement.
Having a background in electronics, Fowler maintained all the systems relating to launching missiles to space crafts. His responsibilities crossed numerous fields, starting out at the bottom and working his way up to project manager, holding that position for thirty-five years.
"Much of my experience came from my dad," Fowler explained. "He taught me the care and responsibilities of doing a good job by observing and suggesting a better way without belittling co-workers."
Fowler earned numerous awards throughout his career. He now serves as secretary for Canaveral Lodge #339 Free and Accepted Masons, holding two meetings per month, taking minutes, reporting accounts, finances, and expenditures.
