Joyce Middleton, best selling author, announced the release of Volume 1, "Hamburger & Hot Dog Backyard BBQ" in her new cookbook series, "American Classic Digest," which features vintage recipes and a full menu for an authentic American barbecue circa 1950's."I wanted to feature special family recipes that people would want to refer to and make for many years to come" said Joyce Middleton. "To begin this series, I spent over a month with my Mother, going over recipes that have been handed down for generations. Once such recipe for homemade chocolate ice cream, dates to the early 1900's."
