Persons wishing to be married in the Bahamas must:
1. Arriving in the Bahamas at least 24 hours before your wedding.
2. Visit the Registrar General's Office for the Marriage License, providing proof of identity and marital status.
3. Pay a $100.00 marriage license fee.

While applying you will need to have your passport, birth certificates, and proof of your date of entry into the country. And a death certificate or divorce decree if either of you were previously married, or an official notarized document confirming that you have never been married.
