NEW YORK, NY, June 30, 2012 (Press-News.org) Lackuna, http://www.lackuna.com, the language and tech related entertainment blog has recently undergone some makeovers as the popularity increases.

Started by the creators of Ackuna, http://www.ackuna.com, Lackuna's content is focused around language/translation, tech, and pop-culture news from around the world. The popular blog site was created initially to fill the void of language and translation related blogs on the web. "Working for a translation-tech company, I was naturally interested in reading about language news," Matt Bramowicz, associate editor of Lackuna states. "Disappointed with the options I came across, I decided we should start our own."

Since its inception, the reader-base has consistently climbed as the blog's content expanded from just language/translation news, to relevant and entertaining content that everyone can enjoy.

"I didn't want to just have a blog site that only translators or language professionals would want to read, although they definitely rank among our biggest fans. I think language and communication is a universal topic and a lot of our content is interesting to a majority of people," Matt explains.

As part of the new updates that were made to the blog, Lackuna is now publishing original articles from its readers under the new Guest Forum page. "A lot of our readers were writing to us with their own funny translation stories, and we figured 'why not publish these?'. Once we started the Guest Forum section, other people started writing to us with original article ideas that expanded beyond just the translator realm. To me, that is what's most rewarding about maintaining a blog site: When your readers enjoy what you do enough that they want to engage themselves and help contribute," Matt states.
