Mommy Makeover and Breast Enlargement Procedures on the Rise

The plastic surgeons at Center for Cosmetic Surgery are helping patients rejuvenate their appearance and boost their confidence with procedures such as Mommy Makeovers and breast enlargement in Denver.

2012-07-01
DENVER, CO, July 01, 2012 (Press-News.org) Popularity is growing for Mommy Makeovers and breast enlargement in Denver and nationwide.

With bathing suit weather upon us, women are interested in making changes that will not only improve their looks but also help them feel better about their appearance. Denver plastic surgery specialists Dr. Andrew Wolfe and Dr. Steven Vath often see an increase in the number of consultations they have in the spring and summer months.

Mommy Makeover is a term commonly used to describe a surgery in which breast enlargement and/or lift is combined with a tummy tuck. Dr. Wolfe relates that many of his Denver patients come for an initial consultation inquiring about breast enlargement or lift to improve their appearance after pregnancy and nursing.

"During the course of the consultation," says Dr. Wolfe, "the patient also mentions she has interest in achieving a flatter tummy."

For many women, breast enlargement and tummy tuck are a means to regain their pre-baby body. "Unfortunately, diet and exercise can only get you so far," says Dr. Vath.

Depending on the elasticity of the patient's skin and other genetic factors, surgery is often the only way to tighten the abdominal muscles and remove lax skin after pregnancy. Dr. Wolfe and Dr. Vath help Denver patients to achieve their goals of having a flat tummy and restoring fullness to their breasts in a natural-looking way.

"Our patients are normal, down-to-earth women who want to look like they did before they had a family,Dr. Vath continues. "They do not want to look overdone."

During their consultation," women sometimes express concern about combining procedures." Our patients lead busy, active lives," states Dr. Wolfe. "Once they discover that combining procedures is safe and offers the advantage of only one recovery period, the decision is simple."

In addition, combining a tummy tuck and breast enlargement is often more cost effective than having the procedures separately.

For those who aren't yet ready for surgery, Dr. Wolfe and Dr. Vath offer the latest in non-surgical skin treatments, including BOTOX Cosmetic, laser hair removal and microdermabrasion, at Rejuvenate, their Denver medical spa.

Dr. Steven Vath and Dr. Andrew Wolfe are board-certified plastic surgeons who offer a full range of cosmetic procedures for the face and body at the Center for Cosmetic Surgery. They have two conveniently located offices, one in Denver and one in Golden, Colorado. They are also the medical directors of Rejuvenate, a full-service medical spa. Dr. Vath earned his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey, followed by a general surgery residency at George Washington University. He received his plastic and reconstructive surgery training at Louisiana State University Medical Center and Charity Hospital. Dr. Wolfe earned his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School, followed by advanced training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center.
