NORTHALLERTON, ENGLAND, July 04, 2012 (Press-News.org) Hill Cross Furniture is proud to have supplied exciting new summer project for Holiday Marina based in Port-Grimaud near St. Tropez in the south of France. The renovation of the holiday resort including the indoor and outdoor terrace bar and restaurant area, unveiled this Easter 2012, showcases a range of weather-proof furniture, from bespoke banquette seating for the restaurant and bar, to a colourful array of polypropylene chairs for the childrens play area and games room. Leading the design project was interior design firm Design LSM.
Holiday Marina, situated on the River Giscle and in the heart of the vineyards of Grimaud, is located within the stunning bay on the Cote D'Auza.
The contemporary indoor and outdoor restaurant area has been redesigned and is now home to an array of shapely matching side chairs and armchairs upholstered in a range of outdoor suitable fabrics in shades of grey, brown and yellow. Button back banquette seating in a brown fabric finish wraps around the restaurant interior, while the theme continues through to the outdoor terrace area. The solid oak tables with heavy black table bases from our restaurant furniture range complete the 120-cover interior.
The bar area, suitably following the theme of the interior and exterior space is primarily focused on the use of fully upholstered lounge seating in a range of outdoor fabrics and ultra leathers, combining the practical seating with comfort and luxury upholstery. Deep fluted banquette seating accommodates the space, upholstered in a brown ultra leather. The micro-fibre ultra leather is a wonderfully durable and tactile leather option, ideal for the very nature of the holiday resort whereby water resistant materials are a must.
A statement bar with red polished top is the real centre piece of the design, sporting an arrangement of statement bar stools in a fitting mustard yellow. The high impact colours are both fun and contemporary, while blending well with the elegant restaurant beyond.
Outside, the terrace and pool area are home to a variety of outdoor lounge furniture including the Alpha sun loungers (available on request) in a 'caffe mocha' with brown frames and matching sunshades. The side chairs, finished in an antique gold are matched with the highly durable black outdoor werzalit table tops. The children's area will be suitably bright with a range of Pop Side chairs from lime and yellow, to purple and orange, finished with white outdoor table tops.
Even the reception is home to a range of new furniture. The newly launched Ingleton range, designed by Hill Cross Furniture has been upholstered in an outdoor micro-fabric. The button back duo has been finished in a stunning mustard, and pale beige.
The exceptional location will certainly be worth a visit this summer.
