Round Table of Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) - Requirements & Benefits

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND, July 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) The objective of this 45-minute complimentary webinar is to give an initial overview and taster to the Biofuels production and supply chain (agricultural producers, traders, bioethanol/biodiesel producers, Oil and Gas companies), Food and Pharmaceutical sectors, about the requirements of the RSPO scheme (Round Table for Sustainable Palm Oil).

Background
In response to the ever-increasing global call for sustainability, the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) was formed in 2004 with the objective of promoting the growth and use of sustainable oil palm products.

Palm oil can be used as a biofuel and sustainably produced Palm oil is also used in everyday food products such as beverages, food, cookies and ice cream as well as in personal care, cosmetics and cleaning items.
