BOSTON, MA, July 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) Back by popular demand, on July 7, 2012, dogs and their owners will don their finest fashions and compete for prizes at the Posh Pups Summer Parade presented by Manchester Designer Outlets (MDO) in southern Vermont. Participants will strut their stuff down the Posh Pups Red Carpet to compete in three categories: Best Doggie Fashionista; Most Original Doggie Summer Ensemble; and Best Matching Doggie and Owner. Judges will award prizes such as gift certificates to restaurants, shops, inns and resorts, as well as other items to be announced.
The summer version of an event first held last December to much acclaim, the Posh Pups Summer Parade will begin at 4 o'clock at the corner of 7A and Route 11/30 in Manchester, Vermont. Contestants are required to pay a $10.00 parade participation fee with 100% proceeds donated to the Manchester Food Cupboard (http://communityfoodcupboard.org/), a non-profit organization providing food to those in need.
