Clampitt Paper Company Welcomes New Staff Members to Teams in Southwest

Clampitt Paper Company expands role in Southwest's paper specifications and distribution industry by adding staff members to locations in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Kansas.

2012-07-05
DALLAS, TX, July 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) http://www.clampitt.com: Despite economic challenges faced by the pulp and paper industry, Clampitt Paper Company continues to experience progressive growth opportunities across the Southwest. The firm recently hired almost a dozen new staff members in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Kansas, a result of "quality relationships with consumers," says Don Clampitt, chairman and CEO of Clampitt Paper Company. "Our willingness to remain customer-driven and passionate about paper has enabled us to stay productive in a declining industry." The firm also acquired the assets of Warwick Paper Company and are retaining The Paper Station, Warwick's wholesale paper location in Overland Park, Kansas.

Versatility Promotes Growth
Founded in Dallas over 70 years ago by Max and Mary Nell Clampitt, Don Clampitt's parents, Clampitt Paper Company has progressively become more versatile in operations, distribution and management. Ranging from nurturing paper specification expertise, to functioning as an intermediary between consumers and vendors, to educating the public about the versatile applications of paper products, the firm's utilitarian efforts have helped redefine the paper distribution industry.

Clampitt Paper specializes in providing consumers with access to a wide range of paper varieties and offers innovative solutions to print projects.

"We offer our customers new and unique opportunities in printing, while also educating and providing personal attention as people make paper choices," says Don Clampitt. "We really believe that knowledge, and giving people the knowledge to understand why they choose what they do, makes them the better decision makers as it relates to paper and to print."

New Staff Members
Clampitt Paper recently added new staff members to multiple regional offices and celebrated the opening of a new FasClampitt location in Albuquerque, New Mexico in April 2012, despite the nation's economic downturn and continuing decline within paper industry supply and distribution operations. The American Forest and Paper Association notes that the paper and packaging industry still functions as a key player in stimulating economic growth within the U. S., supplying jobs to nearly 400,000 individuals. According to the U. S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, unemployment rates in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Kansas averaged 6.1% in May 2012, reflecting an approximate 1% decrease in unemployment rates compared to regional findings a year ago.

Below is a list of staff members who have been recently welcomed to Clampitt's team of professional paper industry experts:

• Eric Henline - Austin, TX - Operations Manager

• Colin Brown - Dallas, TX - Sales

• Brittany Scott - Houston, TX - Specifications

• Kenneth Drew - Houston, TX - Sales
