Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath Continues Busy Year with New International Tour

Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath follows the release of a well-received new book with the announcement of a major international tour.

2012-07-06
NEW YORK, NY, July 06, 2012 (Press-News.org) Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath is no stranger to hectic schedules. A leading authority on meditation, and one of the last remaining adherents of kriya yoga, Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath has been a teacher and yoga instructor for nearly forty years. In that time he has penned numerous books, and brought his teachings to thousands of followers, via a popular YouTube channel. He has even shared his views from the floor of the United Nations. Even by the teacher's own busy standards, however, 2012 has proven an eventful year--most recently with the announcement of a major new international tour, which will run throughout the summer.

The tour follows, and celebrates, the release of Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath's most recent book, Babaji: The Lightning Standing Still. The book provides an in-depth analysis of the life and work of Babaji, a divine figure revered in many circles, from whom Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath claims direct discipleship. The author describes the book as the culmination of his life's work. His followers are similarly enthused: Babaji has sold out of its initial hardcover run, though paperback editions are still available.

In addition to evaluating the life of Babaji, Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath also uses the new tome as a place to elaborate on some of his most treasured teachings. These include his insight into kriya yoga, which he distinguishes as a more ancient and more rewarding form of yoga than the more familiar Western variant. Additionally, the book elaborates on the teacher's famous "Earth peace through self peace" mantra, the teaching for which he is best known.

Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath will further expound on these topics on his new world tour, which began in the teacher's home town of Pune, India. Dates will run through the duration of the summer, and will feature stops in various American and European cities.

Hardly a conventional "book tour," Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath's international sojourn will include many intense, multi-day teaching events, including seminars and yoga workshops. In addition, he will be sharing insight and illumination from the Babaji book, and interacting with his readers, fans, and followers.

Further details about the book, as well as information on ordering it, can be located at the teacher's website, http://www.siddhanath.org. The site also includes an up-to-date calendar of all remaining tour dates, in addition to registration information. Furthermore, the website features an array of information about the life and teachings of Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath himself.

What You Need to Know About Expunging a Florida Juvenile Record

2012-07-06
Popular culture, including movies and television shows, commonly depicts juvenile crimes as isolated incidents that have little or no impact on the offender's adult life. In the world of scripted drama, juvenile records seem to magically disappear once the defendant turns 18, never to be seen or heard from again. In the real world, though, those childhood crimes can - and do - come back to haunt juvenile offenders. A recent report by the Palm Beach Post sheds light on the ramifications of having a juvenile criminal record by telling the story of several young adults ...

Prompt Proofing Blog Post: Some Debatable Issues, Part 2

2012-07-06
Not everything in grammar is cut and dried (for more debatable issues that have grammarians disagreeing, please see last month's post here). This month we look at words taken directly from Latin and whether or not they should be treated as singular or plural. Words such as 'data' and 'media' are seen used with both singular and plural verbs and there seems to be no consensus as to which is correct, particularly with data. Both are, of course, plural nouns though the singular form 'medium' is undoubtedly more widely known, and used, than 'datum'. So should it be 'The ...
