San Diego Tech Entrepreneurs Partner with Orphanages in Baja

Mobile phone application elwiri has partnered with actors Rick Najera and Jose Yenque, and the Casa Hogar network of orphanages.

SAN DIEGO, CA, July 07, 2012 (Press-News.org) Mobile phone application elwiri, developed by San Diegans Alex Goldstein and Wolf Bielas, has partnered with actors Rick Najera and Jose Yenque, and the Casa Hogar network of orphanages in Northern Mexico to feed children in need. For every download of their free application for iTunes (http://bit.ly/zf8Hvb) or Android (http://bit.ly/H5BVLa) during the month of July, elwiri will feed a child for a day.

A one-minute video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trH1IRVmk5s) has been produced to showcase the initiative and is being shared online so that people embrace the campaign and share it with their family and friends.

Elwiri, a "lifestyle" mobile application that caters to Latinos, is based in San Diego. elwiri's COO Alex Goldstein was a recent recipient of the Rising Star Award from Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association, and was honored as a Club Leader of the Future by Latino Leaders Magazine.
