RALEIGH, NC, July 08, 2012 (Press-News.org) Mims Distributing Company (http://www.mimsdist.com), a beer distributor that services a nine-county area in and around the Triangle, has announced that Mims now offers BRUX, a collaboration between the Sierra Nevada and Russian River brewing companies. Created at Sierra Nevada's Chico, Calif., brewery, BRUX is an ale fermented with Belgian yeast and finished by a secondary bottle fermentation with the Brettanomyces bruxellensis yeast. This creates a dry and complex copper-colored beer with slightly tart notes of green grass, pear, spice and lemon.
QUOTES:
"We have been looking forward to the release of BRUX since we first heard about the collaboration between these two great breweries," said Chip Mims, CEO. "This is a great wild ale that is perfect for beer lovers looking to try something new this summer."
