Local landscape professionals trade grass-stained boots for dress attire when they receive honors from California Landscape Contractors Association, Orange County on July 28

2012-07-11
NEWPORT BEACH, CA, July 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) Members, business partners and landscape enthusiasts of the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) of Orange County will come together on Saturday, July 28, in Mission Viejo to recognize the most visually appealing and responsible landscape designs at the 54th Annual Beautification Awards. Given to CLCA members in more than 30 categories, awards include Landscape Installation, Landscape Renovation, Special Effects, Landscape Lighting and Landscape Maintenance, as well as "green" categories for projects that demonstrate the most sustainable practices.

"The CLCA upholds and certifies the standards of professional practice for landscape contractors and green industry professionals," said Angelia Woodside-Beckstrom, 2012 chapter president, CLCA Orange County and president, Angeffects, Inc. "Our organization values the entrepreneurial spirit and integrity of our members, and rewards excellence in craftsmanship as well as reverent stewardship of the earth through water conservation and sustainable practices. Clients welcome our high standards and aesthetically pleasing results!"

Award entries are judged by a panel of expert CLCA members from outside Orange County who spend four days closely inspecting each nomination for the quality of workmanship and materials utilized. Each landscaping entry must adhere to industry standards and have properly shown an execution of detail.

"Winning a Beautification Award enhances the prestige of participating companies and provides a chance for members to showcase their best work to peers and potential customers," said Cherie Ciotti-Roco, event chair, 2012 CLCA Beautification Awards and owner, CCR Landscape. "At the Beautification Awards ceremony, we promise an evening highlighting some of the best landscapes in Orange County."

CLCA members are state licensed and meet all requirements for consumer protection. Members are provided with a forum for open discussion, networking and education events as well as a wide range of programs and services to expand the professional capabilities of landscape contractors through specialized landscape certifications.

As an active force in the statewide effort to conserve water, CLCA encourages members to be environmentally conscious. The "green" categories are for nominations that demonstrate an efficient use of water and produce "little or no runoff."

The Beautification Awards will take place Saturday, July 28 at 6 p.m. at the Mission Viejo Country Club (26200 Country Club Drive, Mission Viejo, Calif.). Admission is $95 and includes dinner. For more information on the CLCA Orange County Chapter or to attend the event, please call 888-737-3776, email occlca.awards@angfx.com or visit http://www.clca-orangecounty.org.

With vibration tied to semiconductor process equipment failure, low yields and cycle times, engineers need the right tools and analysis software to identify and quantify vibration sources. Random troubleshooting such as parts replacement, conducting complicated partitioned particle checks, and adjusting various tool parameters in a trial-and-error method often don't solve the problem. Traditional vibration measurement methods including stand-alone wired accelerometers are limited in use as they cannot be handled in the same manner as the actual wafers or move through a ...
