LANSING, MI, July 12, 2012 (Press-News.org) Attorney Steven D. Weyhing has joined the law firm of Warner Norcross & Judd LLP as senior counsel.
Weyhing will concentrate his practice on litigation, government, utility, agricultural and environmental law. He will practice in the firm's Lansing office.
Prior to joining Warner Norcross, Weyhing was a member of Kelley Cawthorne in Lansing. He has also worked at the law firms of Butzel Long and Miller Canfield. Weyhing has served as an assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of Michigan.
Weyhing is a member of the State Bar of Michigan. He serves on the board of the Todd Martin Development Fund. He is the past treasurer and a former board member the University of Michigan Alumni Club of Lansing. In addition, he has served as an adjunct professor in the Michigan State University School of Building and Construction Management.
Weyhing received a bachelor of arts in economics summa cum laude from the University of Michigan and his doctor of jurisprudence cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School.
A native of Detroit, Weyhing currently resides in Williamston.
