RALEIGH, NC, July 13, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Carolina Designer Craftsmen Guild (http://www.carolinadesignercraftsmen.com/) has announced that they will host the 43rd Annual Fine Designer Crafts Show at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, N.C. Thanksgiving weekend. The event, a showcase of fine crafts fit for every taste and budget, will run from Friday, November 23 until Sunday, November 25. The Fine Designer Crafts Show, a North Carolina tradition since 1970, provides members of the Carolina Designer Craftsmen Guild the opportunity to showcase and sell their original and handmade art and craft media.
The weekend's event will kick off with an exclusive Gala Preview Party prior to the public opening of the show on Friday, November 23. The event is open to Friends of the Guild, a group of supporters that helps the Guild effectively promote fine craft education, expand leadership opportunities, and to preserve the Fine Designer Crafts Show as one of the most highly-regarded craft and design events in the Southeast. At the Gala Preview Party, all members will have the first opportunity to purchase from the Guild artists prior to the gates opening to the general public.
