A Crime Wave is Churning Through Burn Valley and No One Knows Who or Why....

Romance, passion, revenge and murder stalk Carrie Reynolds and Deputy Preston Rayburn in this thrilling new crime novel set in southwestern Colorado

2012-07-15
MORRISON, CO, July 15, 2012 (Press-News.org) Foolscap & Quill, LLC, has just released Sharlene Nusser's new crime thriller Burn Valley Vengeance.

Carrie covered her mouth, her eyes wide with fear. The pool of blood on her kitchen floor was still wet. Someone had been in her house since she'd fed her horses. As she reached for the light switch over the sink, she glanced out across her lawn. The sun had set behind the La Sal Mountains. Her eyes caught a movement on the lawn. She strained her vision and finally realized what she was looking at. One of her wicker chairs sat in the yard. In the chair sat a man. She couldn't make out the face, but it seemed disfigured. A muffled scream escaped her lips as she realized who it was.

Set in Montrose County in southwestern Colorado, Burn Valley Vengeance captures the color and beauty of the area as it takes the reader for a roller coaster ride of romance and suspense as it follows mystery writer Carrie Reynolds and Deputy Sheriff Preston Rayburn as they try to track down the person responsible for the local crime wave, little knowing that he is stalking them!

Burn Valley Vengeance is available in 6x9 trade paperback format and in e-book formats from Kindle, Nook, Itunes, and Kobo.

Author Sharlene Nusser lives in southwest Colorado with her husband and two children. Sharlene started writing at an early age and writing has always been a passion of hers. When she isn't writing, she keeps busy with her children, quilting, supporting our country's troops and building miniature doll houses. She is currently working on a sequel to Burn Valley Vengeance.
