Truffles Restaurant Now Serving Lunch

Truffles Restaurant in Ladue will now be serving their artfully prepared menu items during lunch hour, handmade with chef-selected, farm-to-table meat, seafood and produce.

2012-07-15
ST. LOUIS, MO, July 15, 2012 (Press-News.org) Lunch is served Tuesday through Friday from 11am to 2pm. Business meetings, private parties and hungry diners alike, are all welcome to have a seat and enjoy a freshly prepared soup, salad or sandwich from Chef Brandon Benack's seasonal menu.

"Our first lunch menu is a collection of Truffles' and my own 'Greatest Hits'," said Chef Benack. "Every dish on the menu is one of our favorites. Coming from a big Italian family, food has always been a big part of my life. Food brought us together. If you don't have fun creating a dish, you won't have fun eating it."

The Truffles lunch concept features affordable, quality menu items based upon Chef Benack's modern American menu, influenced by Southern tastes learned at Hilton Head in South Carolina and Emeril Lagasse's creole restaurant in New Orleans.

The lunch menu starts with "Truffles' Soon to be Famous French Onion Soup" served with mini gruyère grilled cheese sandwiches, Chef Benack's flavorful twist on the traditional wedge salad, followed by his "New Orleans BBQ Shrimp", grilled up with local Schlafly Pale Ale, rosemary and toasted bread. For those with a bigger appetite, Truffles' offers an array of generously portioned sandwiches, such as the "Truffles Burger," made with freshly ground prime beef.
