SHERMAN OAKS, CA, July 18, 2012 (Press-News.org) Too often businesses are at the mercy of Google when it comes to advertising. At times it feels as though the search engine company acts in a rather "mafia-like" way towards Adwords advertisers. That was the inspiration for Keyword Search Pros' tongue-in-cheek send up in their company produced short film The Googfather. For the Internet Retail Conference and Exhibition the KSP team was back in attendance and screening a sequel The Googfather II. As a special bonus, they also offered participants a free evaluation for their company. Normally this would cost $399 but after watching the film, getting the coupon for this evaluation was an offer nobody could refuse.
In the new KSP blog post, CEO Peter Dulay talks about why they took this marketing approach. "I mean we made an entire six-minute movie about how Google is evil and how it is an Adwords profit cutting, advertiser controlling, search engine killer and that KSP is there to save everyone," he writes. "We are so passionate about pay per click that we wanted everyone to know they could take back control of their Adwords accounts."
Apparently, their short film marketing idea worked as it generated plenty of buzz on the exhibition floor. In an arena where hundreds of exhibitors are vying for attention, a company really needs to be unique and stand out. Those are the exact same principles that Keyword Search Pros use to develop their online marketing strategies.
"Having walked the showroom floor myself, I can state there were fierce competitors and an overwhelming collage of other types of businesses present. It was enough to make your head spin. And so would they also be remembered weeks after the show?" Peter continues. "Some yes...others perhaps not. But we stood out like a cry for help; for excitement and diversity from the norm. We made fun in what countless others made dreary and monotonous. And so The Googfather made great segue for Keyword Search Pros into the world of tradeshow exhibition!"
Keyword Search Pros Inc. is a Los Angeles-based internet marketing firm maximizing advertising efforts through SEM (search engine marketing) management for medium to large size companies. The association of KSP has been working in search marketing since 2003. Founded by CEO and Director Peter Dulay, KSP began only as a Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising firm that managed small to medium size companies for several years before expanding into additional services and larger advertisers.

Funding Gates Launches a New Suite of Tools and Support to Help Small Businesses Get Paid Faster
2012-07-18
1 in 2 small businesses in the US consider accounts receivable management to be the most challenging aspect of their cash management activities. In fact, over 20% of the $2.1 trillion receivables in the US are past due and, at that, about 10% are 90+ days delinquent. Because of the lack of adequate solutions available to small businesses in managing their receivables, they are turning to the 6,000 to 7,000 collection agencies that currently dominate the market, despite their unattainable fees (which can range up to 50% in commissions). Funding Gates has set out to transform ...
