RALEIGH, NC, July 20, 2012 (Press-News.org) Gregory Poole Equipment Company, a Caterpillar dealer and industry leader since 1951, is pleased to announce they have expanded their Lift Systems Division through the acquisition of LiftOne, a division of Carolina Tractor & Equipment's Roanoke, Virginia, based territory. The acquisition will provide Gregory Poole's Lift Systems Division, which is already one of the largest forklift distributors in North & South Carolina and Virginia, an expanded reach into the Western area of Virginia, and a small section of West Virginia.
All LiftOne operations and employees will be merged into the operations of Gregory Poole Equipment Company effective June 18, 2012. Customers of LiftOne will now have access to Gregory Poole's full spectrum of resources and technical support. Each Gregory Poole Lift Systems branch location provides full maintenance, field service, OSHA Safety Training, Fleet Management and rental services through experienced and highly trained forklift technicians, state-of-the-art tooling, and a fully stocked parts department. With the acquisition, Gregory Poole's Lift Systems Division will now have ten locations across three states, 92 service vehicles and over 100 technicians.
