TUSTIN, CA, July 20, 2012 (Press-News.org) One of Orange County's most renowned fitness instructors Jill Goodwin has announced the opening of The Studio OC, a place where dance and fitness intersect to deliver an exhilarating and unique workout experience under one roof. With its official debut slated for August 4, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., The Studio OC will deliver an unprecedented and dynamic variety of dance and fitness classes to transform the body and soul with every workout.
According to Goodwin and co-founder Riva Knapp, The Studio OC is a necessary antidote to combat the cookie-cutter, stale classes that are becoming the standard at fitness clubs throughout Orange County.
"The Studio OC promises to over deliver on bringing its clientele fitness that fuels the soul," said Goodwin, who has been featured on Fox Sports West/FitTV's Bodywaves and ESPN's Crunch Workout, and is recognized as one of the best fitness instructors in Orange County. "We've hand-picked the most sought after, dynamic dance and fitness professionals in Orange County to join our team. With the backing of The Studio OC, these instructors are committed to inspiring and motivating our members to bring their A-game and rekindle their love-affair with working out."
Catering to students that range, from the elite competitor to the novice student who aspire to find the athlete within, The Studio OC promises to engage them with high-energy, personalized classes featuring today's hottest workouts. Its mission is to teach, motivate and inspire others for the purpose of helping to transform lives and empower change through fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
"Our main focus is to provide individualized fitness attention in a nurturing environment that fuels the mind, body and soul," said Knapp. "It's one thing when you have to get your workout in; it's another when you crave it and can't wait to workout. The Studio OC aims to inspire its own brand evangelists who will become a living testament of the power of transformation that fitness brings from the inside out."
The Studio OC consists of Orange County's fitness leaders as well as a team of internationally recognized presenters, choreographers, fitness/television celebrities, instructors and dancers who will lead their own personally designed workout classes. Goodwin's expertise in the fitness industry spans two decades. She has received a two-time "Group Exercise Instructor of the Year" by The Sports Club LA/OC and is currently a Lululemon Ambassador. Goodwin has professional credentials from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the Aerobics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA), including a specialized certification in junior fitness.
Clients can expect to receive a wide range of uniquely choreographed dance and exercise programs to choose from. The fusion of dance and fitness are evident in class selections. From The Studio OC's signature Rock n Roll Barre Fit Class, a workout designed to create a long, tight, lean dancer's body by redefining the lower body using ballet, toning and stretching - all set to rock n roll music; to The Cardio Dance & Define Class, an all-inclusive workout featuring low impact aerobic/dance moves to Zumba and an array of well-known classes such as step; in-studio boot camp; advanced step; ballet bar fusion; booty, body sculpting & abs; steps/definitions; legs & abs; cardio dance & define; yoga; extreme boot camp; and circuit training. The Studio OC will also offer VIP access to a host of fitness workshops and intense training master classes.
The Studio OC prices are $18 for a single class, $150 for a 10-class card and $240 for a 20-class card. An unlimited monthly fee is available for $169. Daily schedules include early morning, mid-morning, lunch hour, late afternoon and evening classes.
