QEES Launches Its First Smart Homes Devices

July, 19th, 2012 - QEES announces the launch of its first home automation devices, Remote Series and Retrofit Series.

2012-07-21
GLOSTRUP, DENMARK, July 21, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Danish energy management solutions provider QEES announces the launch of its first home automation devices. Starting with July 2012, the first two series of QEES products (Remote Series and Retrofit Series) are available for our partners to order.

"It took us a long time to get here, but now I am confident that we deliver to the market exactly what was expected from us: high-quality devices, increased level of usability as well as numerous functions and options that make everyday life easier. All these features will be present in other QEES series of devices that are to be launched soon", says Dennis Rohde, CEO of QEES.

The Remote Series consists of MyKey, a Z-Wave based remote controller. MyKey can be added to an existing Z-Wave network with devices from other manufacturers or used to set up an entirely new one. With MyKey, the user can create up to four different scenes and control them from distance. This device can update itself, as well as other QEES devices "over the air", through the PC software upgrade application, thus gaining access to new features and updates as soon as they are developed.

The Retrofit Series consists of RETO Shell Switch/Dimmer and RETO Plug-in Switch/Dimmer. These are highly aesthetic devices, fit for retrofit installation. They are designed to control a lamp or any other type of load. The devices can be controlled wirelessly (with a remote controller) or locally, by pushing the top cover and they have a built-in power meter. All QEES devices are compatible with EU (Schuko, Danish, French, and Italian) and US sockets.

For more information about the QEES products and orders, visit http://www.qees.eu.
