EURI spent years searching specialty shops, department stores, outlets, and the internet for clothing and any other Wisconsin products we could get our hands on (other than Packer, Brewer & Badger gear). While living outside the state, I basically just wanted to represent my home city and state. I never found the wear to show where IEUR m from. EURWhen I recognized that there was a void in Wisconsin fashion apparel, I jumped at the opportunity to provide our home state with the brand that represents them. WI Wear Clothing will launch its first clothing line because, the people of this great state deserve it EUR" We must show the world that we are much more than cheese and the Packers (no disrespect to cheese or the Packers)! EURI have a love affair with Wisconsin! ItEUR s my foundation and IEUR ll never forget the skills, knowledge and love I received in Wisconsin! EUR It's an honor to present "WI Wear Clothing", my gift to Wisconsin!EUR said Fredd, chief executive officer.
WI Wear Clothing Apparel will be available for purchase online at http://www.wiwearclothing.com; beginning July 2012.

The WI Wear Clothing inspiration:
As a Racine native I have always recognized; the beauty, personality, talent, and toughness of Wisconsin. It wasnEUR t until I moved away to other cities that I truly realized the gift and power that I received growing up in Wisconsin. The major difference I noticed being away was that other cities were proud, and they constantly promoted their pride of their city. I wondered what I could do, to bring that type of pride out of Wisconsinites. After years of living on the West Coast, the South and in other Midwest cities, the idea came forth, represent though our fashion for all to see and bear witness!
All in all EURThis is a love movement! A call of pride for all Wisconsinites in state and all over! The goal is to promote pride in all Wisconsinites.

Announcing The Boy Game Transmedia Project: The Culture of Hyper-masculinity Engendering Bullying

2012-07-21
THE BOY GAME is a transmedia project (video and interactive website) that explores bullying not from the vantage point of the roles boys play, but the cultural landscape in which these roles flourish. Much focus is on getting schools to protect targets, which is critical, but the truth is boys can't be policed 24/7, and all boys, even bullies (who have most often been targeted themselves) suffer under hyper-masculine norms of toughness. Both the video and website are based on off-the-record interviews with boys nationwide and follow the stories of three boys: a bully, a ...

Distracted Driving: Deadly Issue in Louisiana

2012-07-21
Common sense tells us that taking our eyes off of the road while driving is dangerous behavior. When a driver is focused on a cell phone, cheeseburger or GPS navigator, he or she is unlikely to recognize risks on the road. When a driver fails to pay attention, the road is a more dangerous place, and a wandering child, a worker in a construction zone or an upcoming stop sign regulating a busy intersection can quickly turn into a tragic scenario. New Distractions As new technology becomes available, new driver distractions emerge. Cell phones have become a major problem ...
