DENVER, CO, July 22, 2012
Is there anything more painful than watching a TV host struggle to keep an audience entertained between segments? Well, there might be one thing: when the host shows up to a mixed martial arts lesson without a cup on. Ouch. TV/film actor Scott Takeda might not be prepared to take on the brutes of the heavy hitting combat sport, but he is certainly ready to put his skills to good use and act step in and play the role. And he's certainly not boring."I'm one of those actors who has a lot of 'looks' since I've done a lot of things in my life. So I've been cast in a wide variety of roles that require me to be of lot of different characters," said Takeda. "This hosting reel gives people a glimpse of who I am as an actor, what my personality is like and the entertainment I can bring to a role."
In his latest reel, Takeda showcases his diverse skills by playing the roles of a show host, news reporter, red carpet reporter and more. Takeda takes on any challenge with enthusiasm while engaging the audience with effortless wit and comprehensive delivery.
"I've been in front of and behind the camera for more than 20 years as an actor, director, television reporter and photojournalist. Whether I'm breaking the news, dissecting the fine points of home renovation, or getting down and dirty in the Tough Mudder, I use my knowledge and experiences to connect with my audience on a more personal level," said Takeda.
