DERRY, NH, July 24, 2012 (Press-News.org) DIY HomeAdditionPlus.com announced today the availability of its free online marketplace service, "HouseSight", for connecting consumers with custom home artisans and craft people. "HouseSight" provides a free online environment for artisans to create unique project webpages of their works and crafts. Consumers can review the project pages and connect with artisans to realize their custom home furnishing needs.
The "HouseSight" service enables artisans to create individual project pages where they can upload pictures and a description, as well as a video, of each project. An artisan profile section displayed on each project page, enables consumers to contact artisans via a "HouseSight" internal messaging service or via a link to the artisans' personal website. In addition, "HouseSight" consumer members can vote on custom made artisan projects. The higher a project's vote rank, the higher the project is listed on the unique "HouseSight" Category page, and/or main "HouseSight" page.
"HouseSight", which can be found on HomeAdditionPlus.com or directly at HouseSight.com, was launched last year targeted initially towards homeowners and home remodeling contractors. Due to consumer and artisan interest "HouseSight" has now been expanded with new categories tailored for the custom home furnishings marketplace.
"We are extremely pleased to provide a free online venue for connecting homeowners and consumers with custom home furnishing artisans." said Mark Donovan, CEO and Founder of DIY HomeAdditionPlus.com. "A home is a place for people to express their unique interests and styles. A complete house design goes beyond just the actual design and construction of the home. To make a house truly a home personalized touches both inside and outside the home are a must. By bringing together custom home furnishing artisans and consumers, "HouseSight" enables a house to be transformed into a personalized and custom home."
To use "HouseSight" all an artisan needs to do is register, create a personal/business profile, and begin creating project pages. Each artisan can create an unlimited number of project pages. Each project page is a separate web page that includes the artisans' contact information, including a link to their personal website, along with the project's pictures, video and description. HouseSight members and non-members can view the projects, if the project is enabled public, however only registered members can vote on projects.
HomeAdditionPlus.com and "HouseSight" continue to see strong traffic growth. Artisans posting projects on "HouseSight" can effectively put their crafts and businesses in front of tens of thousands of new potential customers each month. And again, "HouseSight" is a totally free service. There is no cost for registration or posting project pages.
"HouseSight" registration is fast and easy. To register for "HouseSight" and begin promoting home themed artisan projects visit http://www.homeadditionplus.com/HouseSight/home.
