The call that started, UK time, at 2 pm, involved Phil Tufnell, the cricket veteran, Patrick Monahan the funny man and Jodie Marsh the glamorous model. These celebrities used bed booths that were placed at the transport hubs of London like Victoria, Waterloo and London Bridge. This long talk showcased to the public the capability of the three way conferencing of conference call providers Powwownow. This allows users to conduct their business from anywhere, including from the bed. Such an exercise results in cutting down on commuting, being friendly with the environment and saving money for the British businesses.
The three characters were named using the words "Pow", "Wow" and "Now". They interacted with the commuters and invited them to take a look and do the three way conferencing with Powwownow. The participants were also presented mementos like travel cards to remember it later.
