Medisim to Unveil First-of-its-Kind Product at ABC Show

Makers of the award-winning TempleTouch Thermometer will unveil a brand new kind of thermometer for moms

2010-10-03
HOLLY SPRINGS, NC, October 03, 2010 (Press-News.org) Medisim Ltd., the makers of the award winning TempleTouch thermometer, is unveiling a brand new thermometer at the ABC Show in Las Vegas October 10 - 13th, 2010.

The MothersTouch thermometer is the first and only thermometer of its kind, and is targeted to mothers with young children. It is the most intuitive and gentle method of accurately getting a temperature reading. A mother gently places the base of the thermometer to her child's forehead or temple for just 6-8 seconds and with no effort or discomfort, gets a quick and accurate measurement while holding her baby close.

"Over the course of history, there has been nothing more natural for a mother to do with a sick child than to touch her hand to his forehead to check for a fever. While a warm forehead often implies the presence of a fever, it isn't scientific or exact - until now," says John Wilson, President of Medisim-USA. "We are so excited to for the ABC Show Attendees to be the first to see the MothersTouch Thermometer."

The Mothers Touch will be on retail shelves early in 2011.

Medisim will also display its award-winning TempleTouch Mini thermometers and TempleTouch premium thermometers, which are available at http://www.TempleTouchThermometer.com and on retail shelves nationwide.

Medisim is the international leader in non-invasive fever measurement and understands exactly how frustrating and intimidating it can be to take your sick child's temperature with traditional thermometers. MothersTouch Thermometer uses the same patented technologies in the TempleTouch Thermometers - R.A.T.E. and non-invasive temperature measurement and has even more sensors to provide accurate readings every time.

The main focus of the ABC show is on products, predominantly in the areas of furniture, bedding, room decor, baby gear, gift and layette, maternity, toys and related accessories.
